James Lawless - Aquatics Director
 
James has over 25 years experience coaching swimming from learn to swim to international participation. 
 
James comes to ABA as the former Head Coach and club manager of the largest competitive swim team in Ireland. He was also the aquatics director for a large independent school in Dublin. He is a qualified ASA Level 3 Senior (Head Coach), Swim Instructor Trainer and Lifeguard Trainer.
 
He has also been involved in qualifying youth athletes to international competition (European Youth Olympic Festival, UK Schools Games) along with regional and national squads. James is passionate about the sport and is committed to developing the program into a world-class school-based team.
 
Most recently he is responsible for launching the new Aquatics facilities at ABA Oman and creating ABA Aquatics - the learn to swim programme along with the fantastic team!
Enzo Madden - Swimming Instructor, S&C Coach, Lifeguard Trainer
 
Enzo Holds a Bachelor Degree in Sports and Exercise Science while also being a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach. Enzo is responsible for the dryland and injury prevention element of the programme for the MESAC and MESAC Development athletes.
 
He has formalised the strength and conditioning offering utilising the fully equipped gym at the facility.

 

Enzo is also a qualified lifeguard trainer, involved in certifying new lifeguards.

 

 
Roxanne Van Eyk - Swimming Instructor, Lifeguard Trainer
 
Roxy is a former competitive open water swimmer and lifeguard from South Africa as well as competing at an International level for Ice Swimming.
 
As a way of giving back to the sport that molded her life, Roxy decided to follow her passion and has been teaching swimming for the past 15 years. (all age groups)
 
She has an unlimited passion for the students and her job.

Mahsa Abdibastami - Swimming Instructor, Coach, Lifeguard
 
Mahsa is a former competitive swimmer from Iran and joins ABA with more then 10 years experience in teaching swimming. She has worked with all levels and ages from infants (parent and child) to teaching the fundamentals of competitive swimming. 
 
Mahsa offers interactive, fun and progressive lessons. She believes that swimming is one of the most important life skills and everyone can learn!
 
Mahsa is also a qualified lifeguard and first aid trainer and coach to the ABA Aquatics FUNdamentals squad.
