Welcome to Hailsham Swimming Club
Hailsham Swimming Club was formed in 1989. We are a friendly, family orientated club based out of Bede's School Sports Centre, and serve Hailsham and its surrounding area.
Our club aims to become a top competitive swimming team within the Sussex County, providing opportunities for all our swimmers to excel at County, Regional and National level. We are a Division 1 club in the Sussex Swimming League and also compete in Division 2 East of the Arena League.
We continually develop our teaching and coaching skills, allowing swimmers of all abilities to continually improve their swimming technique and fitness. We also provide opportunities to compete with the club across all levels of Open Meets, team based competitions, and County, Regional, and National level competitions.
Our current swimming squads include:
- Our Stroke and Stamina Squads, which are our main teaching groups and allow new swimmers to improve their swimming technique and stamina.
- Our Development Squad, providing a stepping stone between our teaching squads and performance squads, providing the framework and platform for swimmers to develop through to competitive swimming.
- Our Performance Squads, the top competitive squads in the club training to a high level, and aiming to compete at County, Regional, and National Level competitions.
- Our Youth Squad, designed for swimmers under 18 who wish to train for fitness rather than competing.
- Our Masters Squad, offering training for both competitive and non-competitive swimmers aged 18 and older.
Hailsham Swimming Club is affliated to the South East Region of Swim England and is a Swim Mark accredited club.
