The safety of your children and your family is our highest priority at Wexford Swimming & Water Polo Club. We understand that adverse weather conditions can impact travel and training schedules, and we have outlined the following policies to ensure everyone’s safety:

Notification of Weather Updates:
We will communicate any changes to training schedules or updates about weather conditions via the WhatsApp groups. Please ensure you are part of the relevant group for timely notifications.

Travel Safety:
The decision to travel is entirely up to you and based on your individual assessment of the conditions in your local area. Please do not feel obligated to attend training if you believe it is unsafe.

Weather Warnings:
During a Red Weather Warning, all training sessions will be cancelled. For other weather warnings, training sessions will proceed if possible, depending on the pool’s operational status (as determined by Wexford County Council, which owns and has input into the management of the leisure centre). As always, you should only travel if you feel it is safe to do so.

Facility Updates:
The pool management, operated with input from Wexford County Council, keeps us informed about the facility’s operational status during severe weather. We will provide you with updates as we receive them.
