South Ayrshire "Murdoch's" Mini Meet

On Sunday we had a our young team of 24 swimmers headed down to The Citadel in Ayr for the South Ayrshire “Murdoch’s” Mini Meet.

The swimmers raced incredibly well and got 2024 off to a very positive start. As a team the swimmers returned 72% of the total swims as brand new personal bests, an amazing number considering this was the first meet back and all of them didn’t train over the Christmas break. On top of this, a whopping 40% of these swims ended with our swimmers in the medals and Swim2Fast awards, with many occasions also consisting of more than one North Ayrshire swimmer in a single event up there.

Poolside again was electric and the swimmers put on a great show of support for one and other.
