Outstanding Contribution Award - Terry Bream

Last night at weekend 1 of our Time Trials we celebrated Terry Bream being awarded the East Midland Region Outstanding Contribution Award for services to swimming. Fellow Referee Andy Aitken presented Terry with his trophy.

Terry has been involved in the sport of swimming for over 35 years and is still going strong!

From Development Galas to Level 1 Championships Terry continues to volunteer as an official at Northampton Swimming Club events, Northamptonshire ASA and county club events, East Midland Region events and National events.

Many swimmers, especially from Northamptonshire will know Terry and there are now a generation of swimmers whose parents would have been racing when Terry first started.

Terry sits on club, county and regional committees and continues to mentor and help new officials. He is also always on hand to help repair and fix numerous bits and pieces of swimming equipment!
