An Amazing Weekend of Swimming at our Winter Festival

This weekend we hosted our annual Winter Festival at Corby East Midland International Pool.

Swimmers attended from all 4 corners of the United Kingdom showing just how popular this competition is. This would have been the first long course racing opportunity of the season for these swimmers and it was certainly an exciting and enjoyable event to be part of! World Champions, Commonwealth Games Champions, European Champions and Paralympic Champions all in action swimming alongside the next generation of swimmers starting their journeys in the sport of swimming.

Swimmers had the chance to race heats and finals and we saw great progressions over the weekend.

Across the 2 days we witnessed 9 (Nine) British Records and 5 (Five) European Records! A fantastic achievement and a great advert for the sport of swimming and shows the high level of competitions that we organise!
