The Codebreakers and the Coaching Team were out in force to see Bletchley & District SC’s biggest team of 29 swim at the Team Luton SC Development Open Meet.
Coach Ryan Currell pushed hard to get as many of his team to enter this fantastically run event. And being a ‘Development Meet’ meant no qualifying times, and anyone could enter. At the same time, a handful of our experienced swimmers utilised the opportunity to improve their Qualifying Times for the County Championships taking place in late January 2024.
29 Bletchley & District Swimmers competed, the highest number the team has ever had for over a decade. For many, it was their first time competing, and getting those all-important Person Bests and having them officially recorded on the Swim England PB database for the first time.
