Chiltern League: The Final - This is our chance

Ryan Currell

For the second consecutive year the Code Breakers have made it through to the Final of the Chiltern League. It comes after coming 3rd in Round 1, and smashing all its opponents coming 1st in Round 2.

Head Coach Ryan emphasises that "This is our chance".

"I think with the great result we achieved in Round 2, planning for this Final has been easier. NOT to say it is easy. But, we definitely know where we are with our swimmers. We know their strengths, and we know what has worked for us. So much of the team will remain the same with a few tweaks".

How does the Chiltern League Final work?

Unlike previous years, there has been a slight change to the final.

After swimming the 2 Rounds;

The top 6 teams (that's us) based on points will compete in Round 3 - FINAL at Tiddenfoot, Leighton Buzzard. The other bottom 7 teams will complete for the 'Wooden spoon' Round 3 at Aqua Vale, Aylesbury.

In the FINAL, what ever place they come, will be the final place result. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies.

Their will also be an additional trophy - The Roger Barton Memorial Trophy. The Team with the most league points from all 3 rounds combined will be awarded the Roger Barton Trophy.
