Hello and welcome back to the new 2024-2025 swim season!!!
After a relaxing 4-week summer break it certainly is good to be back in the water. Each season has been getting better and better at Bletchley & District Swimming Club and this new season will certainly be action packed.
So action packed, we've created a booklet for swimmers and family to download and read before we 'dive in'. Inside has all the information to get you started, including pencilled in fixtures, socials, what you must bring to each training session, rules and expectation, what to wear during races, and meet our 2024-2025 Club Captains!!!

Last year we finished 2nd overall in the Chiltern League. Let’s see if we can maintain this accolade. So, look out for any announcements about the Chiltern League taking place February, March and April.
We had 8 County Championship swimmers and another regional swimmer. This year, we would like more to qualify and walk out with medals and smiling faces. So, let’s enter more open meets and get those qualifying times! Go on our website and check out our Fixtures page to enter meets, galas and socials.
We’ve had a busy time since we were last training both on and off poolside, none more so than welcoming in a few new faces – more of which you can read about elsewhere in this booklet.
For training, our pathway programme is growing from strength to strength. Our Junior Squad has grown immensely we have acquired an extra lane helping us push our Juniors reach regional standard.
We have subdivided each Squad so you can see how well you are progressing in our Athlete Pathway programme – more of which you can read about elsewhere in this booklet.
And finally, as we have continued to grow from strength to strength, we are calling for more helpers, people to become Timekeeper Officials, poolside helpers, Qualified Swim Coaches, members on our committee, and anything you can give, no matter what, no matter how small.
So come and speak to any member of our committee, coaching staff, officials, and even our Team Captains!
