Event Update - Dunstable SC Splash Night

Hello Swimmers,

 

Dunstable Swimming Club once again welcome you to Duel in the Pool (Splash Night)! On behalf of the coaches and committee, we welcome you all and hope everyone has a great night of swimming! If this is your first time, please speak to one of the helpers on the night who will guide you through the evening.

 

Please read the information below carefully regarding Splash night on Saturday 12th April 2025.

 

Arrival – 5.00pm

Sign in Closes – 5.15pm

Warm up – 5.30pm

Start – 6pm

 

ENTRANTS:

Swimmers ensure they bring their;

  • Race swimwear
  • Large bottle of water/juice
  • Snack if needed (No crisps or biscuits)
  • Towel
  • Goggles (and a spare in case)
  • Bletchley swim hat
  • Swim bag.

SPECTATORS:

Entry is £4 for every adult; child spectators are free. Please see the helpers on the door when you arrive, card payments preferred please but cash will be accepted.

Raffle is £1 per strip with prizes on the night.

 

RAFFLE PRIZES:

There is still time to hand in any raffle prizes you have to any member of the committee or your coach before Saturday, thank you.

 

Spectators are welcome poolside in the triangle, up on the balcony or outside in the café area.  Facilities are available in the café area and this is where race results will be posted up throughout the night.

 

Important notes to adhere to for Safeguarding purposes:

 

  • Swimmers must stay with their club on poolside.
  • Parents and spectators are not allowed in the changing or shower area, please use the public toilet facilities located in the café area or upstairs if required.
  • Mobile phones are not permitted in the changing area at any time.

 

CERTIFICATES

We are no longer providing paper certificates in an effort, as a club, to become more environmentally friendly.

If you would like a digital certificate emailed to you then please contact us with your swimmer’s name and race/s required to [email protected] before 15th April 2025.
