Bletchley & District Swimming Club has some exciting news to share!

We have won another Award!

The Swim England South East Region’s Award Panel have deliberated and considered all the deserving nominees for each award very carefully and we are delighted to announce our very own Abigail Brown is the winner of Young Volunteer of the Year region winner 2025! And that's not all! The whole of the Club came a close 2nd place as Regional Club of the Year 2025! The awards there presented by Regional President Peter Roycroft at the Regional Awards event in Guildford on Sunday 16th November. The awards highlight achievements from our clubs, coaches, teachers, volunteers, inclusion, health and much more – showcasing how we create great experiences across aquatics.

What a fantastic achievement for the club!

Because Abigail has won the Regional Award, she has been invited to the Swim England National Awards held on Saturday 29th November at The Great Hall at the University of Birmingham, where each regional winner will be considered for the national award.

Last year the club was Regional Winners and National finalists for Volunteer of the Year 2024! To have gained two more recognitions from the National Swimming Sports Governing Body proves the effort and dedication this club puts above and beyond to training our swimmers.

Huge congratulations to Abi and good luck at the Finals!
