With 85 teams competing nationwide, we are very proud to announce that Maidenhead Marlins are joint National Champions of the Junior Arena League 2023.

The pool was full of energy as our Junior Maidenhead Marlins took to the water for an evening of exhilarating races. The results? Nothing short of unbelievable! 🌟

Round 1 highlights:

- Marlins A: 1st Place with an astonishing 187 points! πŸ₯‡
- Marlins B: a brilliant 3rd Place securing 119 points! πŸ₯‰

League Standings After Round 1:

After Round 1 of the National Arena Junior League, amid the fierce competition of 83 teams, our Marlins A Team stands tall in 2nd place. It's a testament to the dedication and skill of our phenomenal swimmers.

Let's not forget our Marlins B Team, holding a strong position at 24th place. In a league of this magnitude, this is an achievement worth celebrating!

Round 2: Triumphs Unfold at Hillingdon!* πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈπŸŒŸ

A stellar afternoon unfolded as our Junior Marlins, fuelled by determination, delivered an outstanding performance in Round 2 at Hillingdon. The pool echoed with cheers as both our A and B Teams clinched 1st and 2nd place respectively, showcasing their prowess in the water.

Round 2 Results:

- Marlins A Team: 158 points
- Marlins B Team: 106 points
- Amersham A: 98 points
- Hillingdon: 86 points
- Amersham B: 42 points

 

League Standings After Round 2

The league standings after Round 2 tell a tale of rising success. Our Marlins A Team proudly claimed the 1st place, while the Marlins B Team moved up to the 23rd spot. These remarkable results pave the way for an eagerly awaited Round 3.

Round 3: A Night of Racing Excellence

The excitement reached its peak in Round 3 as clubs battled fiercely. Our Maidenhead 'A' Team emerged triumphant, securing 1st place ahead of a formidable Wycombe 'Green' team. Simultaneously, the Maidenhead 'B' Team displayed grit, finishing a solid 5th ahead of Wycombe 'White' in a race fest that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

  2. Wycombe Green: 158 points
  3. Windsor Red: 114 points
  4. Amersham A: 105 points
  5. Maidenhead B: 78 points
  6. Wycombe White: 64 points

League Standings After Round 3

As the league table concludes after 3 Rounds, Maidenhead Marlins B celebrate a brilliant achievement, finishing 22nd with 4841 points in their inaugural year.

For the second time in the club's history, Maidenhead Marlins A have secured a place in the National Arena Junior League Final, claiming 2nd place with an impressive 7161 points.
