We are a top IRISH Swimming Club in South Dublin comprising of Junior Age Group and Masters Open Water squads. 

Our Age Group squads have over 120 members and consistently produce athletes to qualify at regional, national and international level. The squads are structured to suit ALL levels from novice through to International TEAM representation. The focus is to encourage ALL members to maximise their potential in the sport of Swimming. Challenging the youth of today to be CHAMPIONS of tomorrow.

A Club with a rich history of developing athletes to their ultimate potential. 

In 2018 we were Swim Ireland Club of the Year. 

In 2025, we won the 'Quality Club' award at the Irish Youth & Senior Championships.

Our Club is proud to say we have a double Olympian in the club team, training daily in the pool.   Ellen Walshe qualified for the Tokyo Olympics (held in 2021) and  also qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics, where she went on to be a finalist in the 400M Individual Medley and a semi-finalist in the 200M Individual Medley.

Ellen has competed at European, World and Olympic level, and currently holds multiple Irish Senior Records (both long-course and short-course). To highlight just a few of her achievements:

• 2021 World SC Championships (Doha) : 400IM - SILVER
• 2023 European U23 Championships (Dublin) : 200IM - GOLD ; 400IM - GOLD; 100 Fly - SILVER
• 2023 European SC Championshios (Romania) : 400IM - BRONZE
• 2025 World CupSeries (Held over 3 weekends in USA / Canada) : 200 Fly - BRONZE / SILVER / SILVER   ; 400 IM - SILVER / GOLD / GOLD

Two of our Masters & Open Water squad took part in the 2025 World Masters Championships in Singapore, and the has over 50 members who compete in the Leinster Open Sea Swims and the annual Liffey Swim.  the squad are also continued to develop their presence in Masters competition in the Pool.

Templeogue Swim Club is affiliated with Swim Ireland and has been awarded their Clubmark quality mark again in 2022/2023 Season.
