Bristol North Junior Open Meet
"The first Saturday of the Bristol North Open proved particularly fruitful with all swimmers, without exception, gaining personal best times in all their swims, in somes cases by several seconds. That's what it's all about guys. Alice had two great swims to gain a silver medal in the 50m breastroke, just missing out on the gold by a mere fraction of a second, and also a bronze in the 50m freestyle. Rosabella gained a bronze in the 50m breastroke and a gold in the 50m freestyle in a blistering time of 33.05 seconds.
It was a shame that the eagerly anticipated relays did not go ahead at the end of the day due to a lighting problem, we know those swimmers involved were itching to compete in these.
A big thank you to Paul and Amy for helping out on what was a long and tiring day.
