"Bristol North Junior Open Meet - Second Saturday 28th September 2024

 

It was great to see even more swimmers competing over the second Saturday so a big thank you to Albert, Alice, Amira, Ben, Chase, Hunter, Isla, Issy, Ivy, Jake, Juno, Lila, Marie, Sonny and Thea for making this gala such a success. Well done for the many PBs which resulted from some fantastic swims and to those of you who posted your very first times, you can now go to even better times in your next gala.

 

The second session of the day produced some brilliant swims which resulted in well earned medals so huge "high fives" to Chase with gold medals for 50m freestyle and 100m breaststroke in the 9 year old age group, Hunter with silver medals for 50m freestyle and 100m breastroke in the 11 year age group and to Amira for gold in the gruelling 100m fly event. Well done guys.

 

And a big thank you once again to Katie (Issy's mum) for looking after the swimmers on what was a rather draining day up in the gallery.

 

Well done again to all of you for closing out on yet another Bristol North gala - apparently we're already booked in for next year!
