Derby Excel's Magic Masters!

After their success at the Derbyshire Masters Long Course Championships, the Masters squad have been busy over the last two weekends.

Five members of the squad, Mike, Seb, Charlotte, Craig and Mel travelled to the Staffordshire Masters Championships, with Craig and Mel making their competitive debuts. Some fast swimming, PBs and several medals from the squad and lots of learning to take forward.

Another 5 members of the squad, Steve, Ellie, Frankie, Joe and Val travelled to Swansea for the 3 day British Master Long Course Championships. Again lots of fast swimming, several PBs and 5 medals (1 silver 4 bronze), a great outcome at Nationals level. Even had time for a paddle in the sea!
