We are a competitive swimming club based at Moorways Sports Village in Derby. We teach children and adults how to compete in swimming events, with good technique and learning skills such as diving into the pool and tumble turns. 

We aim to develop swimmers who are confident in the water and enjoy being part of the team here in Derby.

We also have a performance pathway, with swimmers right up to international level. 

We formed in April 2023 from the merger of City of Derby Swimming Club and Derventio Excel Swim Squad, both long established clubs well known for producing outstanding swimmers such as Adam Peaty.
