Officials Mentoring Session

We held an Officials Mentoring Session at Moorways yesterday. Club chair and referee Babs Ingram shared some PowerPoint presentations she'd produced, covering many aspects of officiating, and sharing her experience of being an official for the past 18 years! 

In all there were 16 officials in attendance, varying from J1 trainees to referees. Thank you to referees Paul Hopkinson and Claire Spink for also being there to give help and advice. 

One of the talking points was judging turns, especially the back to breast turn during individual medleys. Babs's son Jamie kindly recorded some video footage of himself doing this turn and others, which were shared on the night. Thank you Jamie :) 

We hope to run another session later on in the year for anyone who missed this one.
