Derby Excel Swimming Club Academy

We have a vision for the people of Derby to be able to access a seamless swimming swimming pathway at the Moorways facility beyond swimming lessons.

Many children drop out or finish lessons because there is no clear offering beyond learn to swim. Our Academy offers an exciting introduction to competitive swimming. Children are able to make fast progress and refine their technique with the benefit of skilled coach input. New skills such as racing starts, dives and turns are explored.

We are inviting children between the ages of 7-10 to join our Academy. Swimmers should previously have attended lessons to level 6 standard.
