Derby Excel Swimmers compete at Repton Sprint meet

Some Derby Excel swimmers were in action today at the Repton Sprint meet, gaining valuable racing skills at the sprint events. 

In an event dominated by the host club, Derby Excel gave it their all, and came away as Top Visiting Club. Pictured here are Tyler Shaw and Keira Parker with the award. 

Sophie Woodhall won gold in 11/12 years 100m butterfly, over 7 seconds ahead of the silver medallist. She also won gold in 100m breaststroke, silver in 50m butterfly, and bronze in 50m breaststroke, 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle

Connie Tipper won gold in the 10yo 100m backstroke, with Shivani Todd in bronze. Connie also won a silver in 50m backstroke and bronze in 50m butterfly, 50m breaststroke and 100m freestyle

Eli Green won gold in 11/12yrs 50m butterfly

Rimero Jayawardena won gold in the 9/10 years 50m breaststroke, 100m backstroke and 50m backstroke,  silver in 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle, and bronze in 100m breaststroke, 100m individual medley and 50m butterfly, 

Maxim Bocharnikov won gold in the 11/12yrs100m butterfly, silver in 100m backstroke and 100m individual medley, and bronze in 100m breaststroke. 

Tyler Shaw won silver in 13/14yrs 100m breaststroke and bronze in 100m individual medley, 100m butterfly, 100m backstroke and 50m backstroke

Keira Parker won silver in 13/14yrs 100m breaststroke and bronze in 50m breaststroke. 

Hadley McKenna won silver in 9/10years 50m breaststroke.

Gabrial Sutton won a bronze in 9/10yrs 50m freestyle, 100m butterfly and 50m backstroke
