Congratulation to Team Derbyshire - 2nd at the Swim England National County Team Championships

Congratulations to our swimmers who represented Team Derbyshire today at the National County Team Championships at Ponds Forge. 

There were 2 Derby Excel swimmers, Ada Moorhouse and Connie Bunhejee, and three from Pathway clubs - Ava Carter and Eden Saint (Belper Marlin), and Connor Furnish (Long Eaton)

The Derbyshire team were superb throughout, and came second in Division 1, the highest finish Derbyshire have ever had. 

The team scored 446 points, second behind winners Kent who finished on 478 points, retaining the title they won last. Yorkshire were a very close third, with 441 points, with Surrey on 438 points. These four counties were well ahead of 5th place Scotland West.
