Further Success for Derby Excel at DASA Short Course Competition, 2nd Weekend

The second and third days of the DASA short course competition were held at the Arc, Matlock, and were another success for our Derby Excel swimmers. 

Well done to everyone who took part, we had many many excellent swims, with excellent skills on show even at this early point in the season.

Our gold medallists over the weekend were as follows: 

James Lee (13) who won the 800m freestyle, finishing a minute and 17 seconds ahead of his nearest rival. James also took gold in 400m freestyle

Laurel Roberts-Burrell (18) – 100m backstroke, 50m butterfly, 100m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 50m freestyle

Connie Bunhejee (14) - 200m individual medley, 50m butterfly, 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle

Anna Tyers (17) – 200m freestyle, 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 100m freestyle

Tyler Shaw (14) - 800m freestyle, 200m breaststroke, 100m individual medley, 50m breaststroke

Roman Levchenko (17) – 200m butterfly, 400m freestyle, 100m butterfly

Rimero Jayawardena (11) – 100m backstroke, 100m freestyle, 50m backstroke

Isaac Ebanks (15) - 800m freestyle, 400m freestyle, 50m freestyle

Amelia Sheil (13) – 400m individual medley, 200m individual medley

Olivia Male (14) - 200m freestyle, 50m backstroke

Ada Moorhouse (13) – 100m breaststroke, 50m breaststroke
