Megazone Christmas Social

Derby Excel swimming club recently held a successful Christmas social for 72 swimmers across all the squads at Megazone in the Willows Sports Centre in Derby. The event was filled with fun and festive spirit, providing a welcome break from their intensive training and recent competitions, such as the Christmas Cracker meet.

The main activities of the evening included:

·       Laser Tag: The swimmers split into multiple teams for two competitive games of laser tag, navigating the multi-level futuristic arena.

·       Delicious Buffet: After the excitement, participants refueled with a delicious buffet at the venue.

·       Socialising: The event provided a great opportunity for swimmers from different squads to interact, build team spirit, and celebrate the season's achievements together in a relaxed, fun environment.

The evening was a memorable occasion for everyone involved, successfully blending friendly competition with festive socialising.
