Safeguarding

We want all our swimmers to enjoy participating in the sport and to support this, we need to ensure their health, safety and wellbeing remain a priority. All key Club personnel have the appropriate DBS checks and safeguarding training as are required of their role.

Safeguarding our swimmers is a collective responsibility and we work in partnership with our members to support our swimmers to achieve their full potential.

Wavepower is Swim England’s safeguarding policy and procedures document, and BSC adheres strictly to this. It is available to download via this link.

To report any safeguarding or welfare concerns about an adult or child within the Club, please contact our Welfare Officer James Stevenson at  [email protected].

The process to report a concern is outlined on the Swim England website: report a concern
