Carole joined Jersey Swimming Club in the 1970s. Julie became an Island Champ in 1979 when she won 4 out of 5 of the available events. Carole was Vice President in 1986 but took a break from membership when her daughters stopped swimming.
She has seen the club move to the Aqua splash and to Langford and has been involved in the growth of lessons. She became President in 2009.
