About Us
Welcome to Kent Cheer Academy. We are a successful, family-friendly Cheerleading Programme based in Kent with teams training in Gravesend and Gillingham.
KCA was founded in 2014 and has grown to be a National Powerhouse of Cheerleading. We offer a variety of recreational and competitive cheerleading teams to provide the benefits of cheerleading for all ages and abilities. Our athletes develop lasting friendships, self-confidence, a strong sense of pride and great memories that will stay with them forever.
At Kent Cheer Academy we pride ourselves on our family-orientated culture. We are a community that cares for and supports each other through all aspects of life. Our athletes and families build friendships that will last a lifetime. Our ethos is firmly rooted in the belief that 'It takes a village to raise a child’.
Our mission is to promote inclusivity, fitness, confidence & sportsmanship through Cheerleading. We believe that it is important for our athletes to train hard and to know that their potential is only limited by their mindset. Hard work, determination and resilience are life lessons that will serve them, long after their cheerleading days.
We are proud to have achieved success Internationally as well as being National Champions every year since 2015! We were the first UK programme to win Gold at the Allstar World Championships in 2022. We are also home to the 3-time NCA Champions Zirconium – the only UK team to win the largest cheerleading competition in the world, based in Texas, back to back at different levels.
In 2025 we will continue to make history as we take our first ever Level 5 team to the IASF World Championships and we have just returned from NCA after winning a 3rd title for Zirconium.
We offer a wide variety of classes to make cheerleading accessible for every athlete, including tumble, dance, recreational cheer, SEND team, competition teams, and International travel teams. Our rec cheer and tumble classes are perfect for athletes and families who are new to cheerleading.
