Club Update

As we come out of the coldest month and the days start to get longer, it felt like a good time just to give everybody a quick update. 

As you will know, there is still no news on how or when restrictions will be lifted but we look forward to the government update on 22nd February which may give some early indications on when we are likley to return.  As previously stated, the billing system has now been turned off, with no fees being charged until we have a timetable for our return. 

We continue to work away in the background to make sure the club keeps moving forwards and is ready to go when we are able to return to the pool.  The first committee meeting of the year was held yesterday which, as always, saw a number of good ideas put forward. 

Our fundraising efforts continue, with £1200 raised so far on our justgiving page which is brilliant news.  Thank you to all those who have kindly donated, every penny counts!  Our easyfundraising supporters have raised over £215 in donations just by shopping online.  This is really positive as it proves just how successful that can be as ongoing source of income for the club.

Finally we hope you are all keeping well and that everyone is managing to stay active and aviod boredom.  Hopefully it won't be too long before we see you all again.
