As a club, we are always looking at ways to offer more to our members and these awards will offer swimmers something extra to work towards during training and a reward for their progress.  So I'm pleased to say that we will now be offering an award scheme designed by Swim England for our swimmers. 

There are 6 awards in total and are made up of 12-16 individual elements each.  These elements relate to various skills that swimmers develop while being part of a swimming club. 

Swimmers will complete the awards as they move through the club, helping to provide a framework for the differing skills and training priorities of each group.  These awards will be become a part of group progression, providing clear objectives / skills to work towards as part of their long term development.

The awards will be completed in the following way:

  • Green - Club Award 1
  • White - Club Award 2
  • Purple - Club Award 3 & 4
  • Blue - Club Award 5 & 6 

Once a swimmer completes an award, parents will be able to purchase a certificate and pin badge for £5.
