Pennypit Trust - Food Collection
We would like to introduce everyone to our food donation collection this year. This initiative will be running from tomorrow's session until Wednesday 21st December. Let's see if we can beat last year's collection which benefited those in need in our community. We are collecting for The Pennypit Trust based in Prestonpans but serves all of East Lothian.
This is a local charity that one of our coaches, Jonny works for and they do amazing work with families and the elderly especially at this time of year. Referrals of disadvantaged children and young people in Musselburgh, Prestonpans and Tranent have risen by over 40% this year alone meaning they have over 700 children to provide essential food, winter jackets and Christmas presents. We have attached a photo with some suggestions on what they are looking for. All items must be
non-perishable. Any donations are much appreciated.
