Musselburgh Amateur Swimming Club has been awarded the prestigious AquaMark status by the national swimming body. AquaMark is a Scottish Swimming initiative which aims to grow the sport through recognised grassroot swimming clubs which are strong, sustainable, and inclusive. Musselburgh Amatuer Swimming Club athletes had a strong weekend at the East District Championships (Round 2) at Royal Commonwealth Pool over the weekend. Our swimmers reached coutless finals throughout the event, achieved many PBs and even walked away with a few medals. What a day of swimming and what a way to get us into the Christmas Spirit! As usual the Xmas gala never fails to disappoint with lots of festive fun, dressing up, music but more importantly some fast swimming. The busy schedule throughout Saturday was split with younger swimmers in the morning and older swimmers in the afternoon.
