Volunteers required to help run the club

In order to successfully have a fully functioning competing Swimming Club, we need a team of volunteers.

 

Entry Secretary (Team Unify/Team Manager)
Maintain the swimmer’s database, enter swimmers into future Galas, maintain the swimmers records.
 
Financial Controller (TeamUnify/OnDeck)
Assist the Entry Secretary and Treasurer in maintaining all financial aspects of Team Unify/ OnDeck.
 
Website Administrator
Maintain the Club Website, add News, add Gala results, add content, add feeds, update the Website and make any improvements required.
 
Communications Officer
Keep all communications between Club, Coaches, parents and swimmers up to date.
 
Social Media Officer
Update any News on the website, facebook, Twitter, Instagram and News Media.

 

Obligations with Scottish Swimming and West District Swimming

We are obligated to providing Technical Officials to any Meets our swimmers attend, and also the Club cannot survive without these roles in helping run the Club Championships and Team Events e.g.Time Trials…

Timekeeper  x12
A requirement for all Meets/Galas/Competitions including our own Club Championships to maintain fairness in all events inside or outside our Club.
Judges  (minimum of 2 )
A requirement for all Meets/Galas/Competitions including our own Club Championships to maintain fairness in all events inside or outside our Club.
STO Convenor
Help keep Club Officials up to date with any rule changes, help with any training and organise Officials for any attending meets.
 

Some or most of these roles can be combined.
