WEST DORSET LVL 3 COMPETITION – DORCHESTER

Alongside the racing up in Sheffield a team of just over 20 swimmers competed down in Dorchester to race the final open meet of the season before Christmas. This meet was also a last chance for swimmers to try and gain County qualification or considerations times.

Despite head coach not being at the meet, coaches Annand and Libby took the lead of the meet and swimmers came away with some impressive results.

The team managed to come away with a nice tally on medals which were:

23 x Golds

23 x Silvers

13 x Bronzes

Which also included 1 club record by Halle Robinson in the 200 Fc.

Over the whole weekend the team were able to gain a 65% personal best ratio despite only racing in the last few weeks which is great to see! Swimmers learning on key areas that can help improve on times.

Well done team and to all Swimmers that raced this past weekend!

Roll on the final round of Arena League and the distance club champs to end the year strong!
