BRITISH MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025

This past weekend a team of 5 swimmers competed at the London aquatics centre for the British masters’ championships 2025. The 3-day event hosted the very best masters from the round the country and is always a great community with lots of fun, laughs and spirit. 

The overall results from the 3-day meet were as follows:

Relays (200+ age group)

3rd in 4x100 freestyle (Ellie, Jacqui, Viv, Wendy)

4th in 4x200 freestyle (Jacqui, Viv, Wendy, Helen)

7th in 4x50 freestyle (Ellie, Jacqui, Viv, Helen)

Individuals Swims

4th in 1500m (PB)

7th in 800m (PB)

Viv:

Gold in 200m freestyle (PB)

Gold in 100m freestyle

Silver in 50m freestyle (PB)

Ellie

8th 50m breaststroke (PB)

5th 200m breaststroke (PB)

6th 100m breaststroke (PB)

Helen

8th in 50m breaststroke

8th in 800m freestyle

Amazing work swimmers and hope you all enjoyed the experience. Masters swimming is continuing to grow in popularity and the club has an ever-growing community of master’s swimmers so if any ex-swimmers are looking to dust off their costumes don’t be afraid.
