County Teams Relays 2023

Very well done to all our swimmers at Penzance for the County Teams Relays 2023.

Our teams won 5 gold, 2 silver and 7 bronze medals, plus we had 6x 4th places. A great team effort.

Special shout out goes to the 9/10 boys who won the double, Seth, Marley, Charlie & Henry J and the 11/12 girls who also won the double, Tassy, Evie, Ava & Amy.

The coaches highlight was the 4x 200m freestyle relay for the 15 and under boys. It was the last race of the day. Dylan E who is only 11 had to swim up with the older boys. He was the last swimmer and was in 3rd place. The rest of the team, Reece, Noah and Sam all stood and cheered him on. At the end of the race they all high fived him, he had held his position and won a great team bronze medal.

That showed great team spirit at the end of a very long, hot and noisy day. Well done boys.
