Okehampton Early Season Meet 2025

On Saturday 20th September fifteen swimmers from Crediton and District Swimming Club competed against other swimmers from across Devon and Cornwall in the Okehampton Early Season Meet. The event, held at the Parklands, Okehampton, was attended by ~150 swimmers representing 6 clubs. Swimmers selected which events to swim from: 50m Butterfly, 50m Backstroke, 50m Breaststroke, 50m Freestyle, 100 Freestyle and 100m Individual Medley. All swimmers achieved Personal Best times in at least one of their events with most achieving them in all their events. The following swimmers achieved medal finishes:

Ruby Leach (F10) 1st in 100m IM, 50m Backstroke, and 50m Freestyle. 

Sofia Gore (F11) 2nd in 50m Butterfly, 3rd in 100m IM, and 100m Freestyle.
Anwen Mansell (F11) 3rd in 50m Butterfly.

Oliver Buchanan (M12) 3rd in 50m Butterfly, and 50m Backstroke.

Thomas Perry (M14) 2nd in 50m Backstroke, and 3rd 100m Freestyle.
