Aims

This squad represents an introduction to club swimming with an opportunity for the swimmer to understand whether it is right for them and for the Head Coach to welcome them to the club, assessing their ability at entry.

Swimmers will learn the basics of lane etiquette and have the opportunity to ask questions about the ongoing pathway.

This is not an extended trial – swimmers are full members of the club and open to the same opportunities as all other members. The Head Coach has discretion where another squad might be more appropriate – and equally the swimmer may wish to stay in this environment longer to feel more comfortable.
