Officials

We welcome all officials to our galas including our internal galas. Where possible we aim to provide training to anyone who is working towards the next step in their official journey at our Level 3 and 4 galas. 

Please email [email protected] with your name, SE number, club and level of qualification and whether you would like any training. Please also state which sessions you can attend. 

Expenses for officials. 

There is a maximum limit on claiming expenses of £100 per day.

We are happy to cover the following:

HMRC rates per mile (currently £0.45 per mile - April 2024) if traveling by car for one return journey from your home to the pool each day. This is independent of if you have a swimmer swimming or the number of sessions. We do ask that if you travel with another official that only one of you claim for travel and car parking.

Car parking - walkergate carpark is the closest car park to our pool, £9.50 for 24 hours payable on departure.

Rail travel and public transport - standard or discounted fare supported by receipts.

Tea and coffee is available and lunch is also provided along with a small thank you gift (such as chocolates or a bottle of wine). Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements by emailing [email protected] .
