Sarah is a Chartered Accountant who first got involved in helping the Club, 4 years ago as Treasurer. She’s now the Club Secretary taking care of a lot of the behind the scenes organisation and documentation that keeps the club running smoothly.
You can often see her in her whites at galas, as she’s also a J2 technical official.
Her kids swim in both the performance and competitive sections of the Club and she’s keen to make sure that the Club is run well for all its members.
In her spare time she likes to bake (try her famous sausage rolls at the galas) and read murder mysteries.

Hello I'm Steph, your Competitions Secretary. I organise the entries for galas. That involves setting up the app and website so you can select galas to enter and the events for your swimmers. I remind you to pay before the deadline and I bundle up the entries and send them to the host teams. I deal with any withdrawals and if it's medical I'll do my best to gain a full refund for you. You receive emails about the gala, such as accepted entries and sometimes the rejected entries too, along with warm up times and anything else of interest, from me. When we host our own galas I'll do the same but I also collate all the entries from the other teams too and keep them updated. I'm more than happy to help you when your gala entry problems arise - I can't tell you which swims to choose, your coach can help with that, but I can show or help you sign up for the events you decide on.
I'm also a member of the Masters Squad and JS2 Official - that allows me to officiate at galas and do a number of roles including, time keeping, turns, stroke, finish judge and starter.

Hi I'm Laura your social media person! I look after our Facebook page and flood it with all of our achievements as a club. I love to hear about what our swimmers are doing either at the pool or otherwise. I have a son in AAA (Los Angeles) who lives for swimming and would rather be at the pool than anywhere else. My love is running, friends and family. I love spending time with both and if I can combine the three, even better. I am also a running coach and love to empower women to see what they can achieve.

I have a degree in Applied Biology and a masters in Biotechnology. I am an Analytical Chemist in the pharmaceutical industry. I have been on the committee since 2022 and I am responsible for medals and trophies. I organise the Referees and Judges who officiate at the galas we hold at Freeman Quay. I am a Swim England qualified Starter and have officiated at Club, Regional and National galas.
