Home to our senior squads, Jubilee 2 is an 8 lane, 25m competition pool which opened in 2011. Equipped with a digital scoreboard, anti-turbulence lane ropes, timing system, starting blocks and viewing balcony, the facilities are perfect for hosting our open meets and other competitions, including our county qualifier 'Yule in the Pool', (held annually in December).

Other facilities include a 12m teaching pool, cafe, climbing wall and gym.

Just a short walk from Jubilee 2, we are delighted to call NULS home to our junior squads, including our swim academy, which bridges the gap between swimming lessons and club swimming. 

Youngsters can learn to swim at Newcastle Swimming School and then progress through the Academy before joining the club's junior competition squads, all based primarily at the 4 lane, 25m pool facilities at NULS.

Purpose-built for the 2022 Commonweath Games, this state of the art 50m pool offers the perfect venue for our long course training programme, which is enjoyed by all squads. It provides experience of long course racing for our younger squads and valuable preparation for national championships for our senior swimmers.
