Schedule changes concerning Cd, Ag2, Ag3, Ag4, Ag5 and Academy 1 Thursdays
Dear team,
1st Feb Schedule changes (for CD, Ag2, Ag3, Ag4, Ag5 and Academy 1 Thurs)
As referred to in my recent newsletter the following changes are due on
1st Feb. There are addition ones as we now have a final plan in place. Whilst I appreciate changes can be frustrating these are certainly necessary to ensure we provide the appropriate space, coaching and development plans for different squads. I am not planning on further changes this season.
Academy
Thursday Academy 1 will move to Wednesday at 6-7pm at Leon from 4&5th Feb onwards. Swimmers in Academy 1 who used to attend Thursday who cannot attend Wednesdays should contact

Swimmers who attend Sunday Academy 1 may wish to switch to the new Wednesday session. Sunday is near capacity and Weds offers a chance to have a dedicated hour to Academy only. The ratios in these sessions will be low to begin with. Please contact

if you wish switch.
Sunday Academy 2 & 3 remains at the normal times unless time changes are forced.
Newcomers to Academy….. This group is expected to run alongside your current Learn to Swim. Please contact
[email protected]
if you are not attending a lesson program.
Ag5
We have already communicated an urgent change next week
removing Tuesdays and
replacing with Sunday PM from here on. There are no other regular changes due. Please look for Sunday training changes emails when galas are on. These sessions will be earlier to make best use of available resources.
Ag4
We are moving to the later time of
7-8pm on Wednesdays at Leon from 4th Feb onwards. This so that Faith can deliver your session – she will be present at all Ag4 sessions and is the squad lead. We are also hoping the later start time is more convenient for parents who work until 5pm. However, I appreciate this is as late as we would like to go on a midweek night at this age.
Newcomers to Ag4… You are expected to start to withdraw from your learn to swim at this stage. It doesn’t have to be immediate but soon.
Ag3
Wednesday night is moving to
Thursday night 6.30-7.30pm at Leon on 4&5th Feb onwards. This means Bee will be the consistent lead for Ag3 sessions. I have been looking for an opportunity for Ag3 sessions to be better spread through the week.
Newcomers to Ag3… We advise swimmers to attend 3/4 of the sessions per week.
Ag2
We are moving to 5-6pm on Wednesdays at Leon on 4th Feb. I apologise if this isn’t as convenient as the previous later time. Please contact

if you have concerns about attending sessions.
Newcomers to Ag2… We advise swimmers to attend 4/5 of the sessions per week.
CD
We have had to
remove Weds PM session at Leon. This has been replaced by a
Fri PM 5.30-7pm at Sta which we have now got coaching cover for. This beings on 4&6th Feb ongoing. In addition, I understand Thurs PM has been less popular at Ble – swimmers may ask to flex to 6.30-7.30pm at Leon – however this can only be allowed if there is space on the day. All other sessions remain the same.
