Coach & Team Manager Passes 

We are introducing a new process for issuing coach and team manager passes to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and security for our swimmers.

All coaches and team managers will now be required to print their own Swim England accreditation pass. This process helps to ensure that each pass is valid and up to date, confirming that those supporting swimmers hold the necessary qualifications and checks.

Please follow the instructions below to generate and print your pass.

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log In or Register

If you already have an account, log in using your Swim England membership number and the password you created during registration.

If you do not have an account, you’ll need to create one:

2. Access the Accreditation Area

Once logged in, scroll down to the section that begins:

“Purchase accreditation for events”

Click the link provided.

3. Select the Correct Pass

You’ll be shown a list of events for which passes are available.

Look for a pass similar to:

Swim England DBS, Safeguarding, Qualification Check, [Start Date] to [End Date]

4. Check Your Eligibility

The system will automatically check your Swim England membership record to confirm that you meet the requirements.

To be eligible:

  • Coaches must have at least an Assistant (Level 1) coaching certificate.

  • Team Managers must have completed the Team Manager 1 course.

  • You must also have:

    • A valid DBS check

    • An up-to-date Safeguarding qualification

    • A recent photo uploaded to your membership profile

If you meet the requirements, the status will display as "Pass".

5. Download and Print Your Pass

Once approved, click “Purchase Now” to download your coach pass.
(Note: There is no charge for passes.)

Print your pass and bring it to every meet you attend.

You will not be allowed poolside, changing rooms or swimmers holding areas without it.

6. Need to Check or Update Your Details?

Return to the main Member Options page to view your current data, check your status, or upload updated certificates as needed.
