East Region Masters Championships, Newmarket

Andy Wright was Stowmarket's only competitor at Sundays East Region Masters Championships with most of the other Stowmarket masters swimming at Sheffield at the end of the month.
Wiggy was 1st in the 800m front crawl beating Len Phoenix's 65-69 years Stowmarket Masters record by 41 seconds. He came 1st in the 200m backstroke, 2nd in the 50m backstroke and 3rd in the 200m breaststroke with a season's best time.
