ESSEX MASTERS MEET, BASILDON

Wiggy was Stowmarket's only reprehensive and one of only three Suffolk swimmers at the Essex Masters Meet held at Basildon on  1 ^st March. He was 3 ^rd in the 50m butterfly, 1 ^st in the 100m breaststroke swimming 4 seconds quicker than at Bury, 2 ^nd in the 100m front crawl, 1 ^st in the 100m IM again slightly quicker that at Bury and 1 ^st in the 100m backstroke. 

Stowmarket came equal 20 ^th in the Team listings, the highest placed Suffolk team  

The Basildon pool makes this an ideal place for a masters meet. The 50m pool is divided in two so that at all times you can warm up and swim down; something essential for the older swimmer. It would be brilliant to have some team mates next year.
