Suffolk League: Round Two
Update: Full results after round 2
Round 2 of the Suffolk League was held at West Suffolk’s pool in Bury St Edmunds. For many of our younger swimmers, this was their first time competing at this venue, making it a fantastic experience.
It was inspiring to see swimmers of all ages and abilities giving their best in every race. From our youngest competitors taking on new challenges to our more experienced swimmers pushing their limits, everyone showed great determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
After the races, the results for the Bury St Edmunds half of the league were announced as:
1st - Stowmarket Gold
2nd - West Suffolk
3rd - Newmarket
4th - Stowmarket Blue
We are currently awaiting the results from the other half of the league. The points from both halfs will be added together to give us the overall results from round 1 & 2.
For league news fans, the results will be published on the Swim England Suffolk website.
Looking ahead, the final will take place on 29th June at Crown Pools in Ipswich — a venue familiar to all our swimmers.
