Bronze for Beth at Swim England Masters National Championships
City of Wakefields Beth Jordan achieved great success at last weekends "Swim England Masters National Championships (25m)" which took place at Ponds Forge International Sport Centre in Sheffield.
The Swim England Masters National Championships is the highlight of the national Masters short course calendar. Competition is always fierce for medals in every age group at the Championships, with multiple British, European and World record broken each year.
A 3rd place in the 50m Back (18-24 Yrs Age Group) with a time of 30.76 seconds was therefore a fantastic achievement.
Beth also achieved the following placings at the competition:
100 back - 7th
50 free - 10th
100 free - 19th
50 fly - 14th
Masters swimming is for swimmers aged 18 years and over. Beth is the longest swimming member in the history of the club. We are immensely proud that she has continued to swim and represent City Of Wakefield Swimming Club throughout Higher Education and still continues to do so even now in full-time employment.
