Devon Championships 2022 (Weekend 1)

This weekend saw a brilliant start to the Devon County Championships 2022. Eleven Brixham Marlins competed in a number of events over the 2 days. ( Aela, Austin, Dan, Eva, Frankie, Freya, John, Owen, Rebecca, Scarlett & Will). For most it was the first time competing in a long-course pool and competition is always strong with Devon having 2 of the largest and most successful Clubs in the country! Rebecca kicked off the weekend with a strong swim in the 1500m.

 

Finalists were:

-Eva 6th 12yr 50m backstroke

-Scarlett 8th 16yr 50m backstroke

- John 4th 13 yr 200m breaststroke

- Aela 4th 13yr 200m butterfly

 

Medalists were:

- John bronze in 13yr 50m breaststroke.
