The Club runs and participates in a number of meets during the season and participation is tailored to a combination of the swimmers age and proficiency. This is consistent with long term athlete development peinciples set out by our governing body, Swim England.

Each swim meet will have its own 'Meet Conditions' and thsse should be read carefully by (as appropriate) parents, guardians and athetes. The meet conditions will set out specific criteria for entry including age and qualifying times as well as time period validity for each qualifying time. It's also important that you observe the closing date for entries as entries will not be accepted once the relevant date has passed. 

Entries are usually made through the club website and athlete times will pull through from their recent race history. 

Swim meets may involve a large number of Tigers swimmers and swimmers from other clubs: this can make for a very busy pool-deck environment. With so many items of swimming kit (jammers, skins, goggles, hats etc) looking similar it is all too easy for swimmers to mislay their own kit or pick-up someone else's kit in error. Please ensure kit is marked wherever possible and that your child takes responsibility for safe-keeping of their valuable kit items.
