I was born in Jersey and swam from an early age. Whilst at school, I competed for AIB Tigers and was selected for the 2003 Jersey Island Games team. I was selected to be the girls team captain, made 2 finals and gained a relay gold medal.

I also swam for Great Britain Catholic schools team for three consecutive years, which took me to France, Hungary and Malta. I had the privilege of being selected as swimming team captain and placed on the podium numerous times.

After completing my A-levels I studied fashion design at Bristol (University of the West of England.) I completed the course with a 2:1 degree and a sportswear collection i was proud of!

After Uni i decided to come home to Jersey. I taught at Le Mourier swim school, before taking up full time employment with the States of Jersey and part-time for AIB Tigers. I have been teaching with Tigers for ten years and hopefully a long time to come.

When I am not at pool-side, i enjoy keeping fit through running, cycling and rowing. I compete in half marathons and I am a member of the Jersey Rowing Club. I have rowed in two 'Sark to Jersey' races and ran the 2009 Jersey marathon.
