Performance Squad

This is the top squad at the club and is for those swimmers who aim to qualify for and achieve good results in County, Regional and National Competitions. Training at this level is much more demanding and so regular attendance is essential. Competition happens on a much more frequent basis and is another required part of participation.

The Performance Squad is for swimmers with no other commitments or distractions other than school. Training is aimed at young people aged 13+ years. However, if we have a swimmer younger than 13 who is performing at a level beyond their age, it will be at the discretion of the coaches whether to place them in the Performance Squad.
