Penguins Awards and Fun Day 2024
Wow! What a day!
It was amazing to see such a big group of swimmers, volunteers, coaches, supporters and parents to the Harlow Penguins Awards and Fun day at the Harlow Rugby Club today.
Firstly, a big thanks goes to Lucy for pulling together and day full of fun for kids and adults alike. The hall looked amazing, and all the little touches helped to give a great atmosphere throughout day - cow bells and bangers all round! The music bingo was a big hit giving lots of singalong classics for everyone to join in, and we are told that the football on the field was so good that they could give the Spanish team a run for their money!
Adrian commented at the start of his speech that it has been an amazing season, and said that every swimmer deserved an award for the efforts over the year. But of course he had to choose just a few for the trophies.
